Valentin Moldavsky, TKO, R2
Pfl tourney is so bad for vassell. He can’t use his main weapon (elbows), which takes a way a lot of his game. He has never had good cardio and now that he’s missing his main weapons, he isn’t nearly as dangerous and will gas more frequently since he’s not getting finishes. I think Moldavsky is bad and 1D, but he is a grinding wrestler. I think he is gonna just ragdoll vsssell until vassell gasses out
Ditcheva vs. Hackett
Dakota Ditcheva, TKO, R2
Good test in terms of striking but cmon can Dakota please face someone real? Even if you just give her someone like Velasquez idc, just want to see her finally tested. It’s also important for her career, she is gauaranyeed a shot in the finals, but she isn’t going to be tested until then. She’s gonna have to face either carmouche or santos & I think either will beat her if she doesn’t start fighting real comp
James vs. Fortune II
Tyrell Fortune, TKO, R2
This is so tricky. I really really hate fortune but James has not looked good recently. Fortune is pretty one dimensional, all he can do is wrestle. He is a pretty good wrestler but being so one dimensional is never a good thing. He also has some of the worst fight iq I’ve ever seen, constantly makes bad mistakes & it’s why he lost the first fight. I really like James but the path to beating him is so obvious. He can’t wrestle at all & is also ancient. I picked him to beat golm but James got extremely lucky; he looked terrible and was getting ragdolled before golm literally just gave up. I hope he can meme ko fortune again, but I kind of feel like James just gets ragdolled. The longer this fight goes on, the more of a chance James has. Fortune will gas and again, is prone to making braindead iq mistakes
Carmouche vs. Watanabe II
Liz Carmouche, TKO, R1
I mean does this really need a rematch lol. Carmouche steamrolled her the first time and it’s not like kana has improved a ton since then
Goltsov vs. Bilostenniy
Sergey Bilostenniy, TKO, R1
Was very impressed with Sergiy last time out. His cardio looked much improved and even tho blagoy is old, he is still a good test & Serhiy passed with flying colors. He kept his power and his striking looked much improved. That being said, Goltsov is a very hard test. He could’ve won the tourney multiple times but is just allergic to winning big fights. I think this is a tough test for Sergiy, but I really liked how improved he looked last time out, I think he can find he chin of Goltsov
Santos vs. Bishop
Taila Santos, TKO, R2
Bishop is actually quite good but pfl is screwing her here. Taila santos is very much a top 5 level wmma fighter and shouldn’t be in pfl. Bishop is very skilled but I think the experience and age gap is going to play a role here. Bishop has the bjj credentials but I think santos is a better mma grappler and also bigger/stringer
Popov vs. Ivanov
Oleg Popov, DEC
Popov should win but this isn’t an easy fight. Blagoy comes from a sambo background and is pretty difficult to hold down. Blagoy is very washed and does the bare minimum in the cage, but he is a better striker and has tons of experience. I think Popov will be able to get him down but I doubt he gets a finish. I’d this was a few years ago I think blagoy could pull off an upset, but he just doesn’t do anything in there
Joanne vs. Young
Shanna Young, DEC
This is such a stinker. Both very bad but I think young’s toughness will win her this fight. She never stops fighting even when she’s outmatched and I think that’s enough to get her the w
Saricam vs. Mowry II
Steve Mowry, SUB, R1
Finally Steve is gonna win a fight. We have seen Mowry is absolutely clueless when he is on his back, but luckily for him saricam can’t defend tds to save his life. Mowry is a pretty good nail so I expect him to walk through saricam
Velasquez vs. Mauldin
Juliana Velasquez, DEC
Velasquez is washed but this is a crazy step down from csrmouche. I wonder if she gets a finish or takes this to decision, she has the skills to get mauldin out of there
Marques vs. Nunes II
Marcelo Nunes, TKO, R2
Marques is a massive human but he is a terrible fighter. As long as nunes is able to get takedowns & doesn’t gas himself out, I think this goes exactly how it did the first time
Neil vs. Inaba
Sumiko Inaba, DEC
I think inaba is pretty overrated, but Neil is also not that good
